Welcome to the TRIBE study

TRIBE collects and stores high quality clinical information and biological samples from transplant recipients to improve transplant outcomes.

TRansplant and Infectious diseases Biobank and rEgistry (TRIBE)

The TRIBE aims to improve transplant outcomes by providing clinicians and medical researchers access to a registry of transplant-related clinical information linked with biological samples (e.g. blood).

The TRIBE is a collaboration between infectious diseases and transplant groups across Australia, the Australian Donation and Transplantation Biobank (ADTB) and DonateLife Victoria (DLV). TRIBE sits within the Department of Infectious Diseases and Immunology, Austin Health, and is supported by the Australian Centre for Transplant Excellence and Research (ACTER) and the Department of Infectious Diseases, University of Melbourne.

The TRIBE is the first centralised clinical data and biospecimen repositories for the storage of linked clinical data and biospecimens in organ transplantation in Australia.
